4-H Club Activity Record
I attended 8 of the Mill Creek 4-H club meetings which was all of the meetings held this year. This year was the first year that I did a demonstration. I attended the air rifle course at the Pepin Rod and Gun Club for 7 weeks this winter, so I decided to do my demonstration on air rifle safety. I made my first Powerpoint, too. I painted little libraries as a service learning project. They were placed at the beach and at the St. John's church. We also made tie dye t shirt as a project at one of our meetings. We had a sledding party at my house we also took pictures because we had a presentation on how to take pictures. We all made a meal together at the St. John's Lutheran church. We try a new meal that the club wants to make together. This year it was an Italian meal. We made noodles from scratch. Then we made chicken alfredo. I attended the blood drive this year. I baked goodies and then I served them to the people at the blood drive. I also gave them juice, water, coffee and crackers and cheese. My dad led a project where he showed our group about how to change a bike tire. I had a lot of fun at the meetings.
